பொருட்பால்– துறவற இயல்– இன்மை(பொருளில்லாமையின் இழிவை உணர்த்துவது). உள்கூர் பசியால் உழைநசைஇச் சென்றார்கட்கு உள்ளூ ரிருந்துமொன் றாற்றாதான்; உள்ளூர் இருந்துயிர் கொன்னே கழியாது தான்போய் விருந்தின னாதலே நன்று. வறுமையால் இரப்போர்க்கு உதவப்பெறாதவன் அயலூரிற்சென்று வாழ்தல் நன்று. பொருள்:     உள் கூர் பசியால் உழைநசைஇச் சென்றார்கட்கு உள்ளூர் இருந்தும் ஒன்றுஆற்றாதான் - உடம்பில் மிகுகின்ற பசித்துன்பத்தால் தான் இருக்குமிடத்தை நாடிவந்தவர்கட்குத் தான் உள்ளூரிலிருந்தும் நன்று உதவஇயலாதவன், உள்ளூர் இருந்து உயிர்கொன்னே கழியாதுதான் போய் விருத்தினனாதலே ஒன்று-அவ்வாறுஉள்ளூரில் இருந்து தனது உயிர் வாழ்க்கையை வீணேகழிக்காமல் தான் வெளியூர்கட்குப் போய்ப்பிறர் இல்லத்தில் விருந்தினனாயிருந்து உண்ணுதலேநலமாகும்.
