| பொருட்பால்– துறவற இயல்– மானம் (Honour). நச்சியார்க்கு ஈயாமை நாணன்று நாள்நாளும் அச்சத்தால் நாணுதல் நாண்அன்றாம்; - எச்சத்தின் மெல்லிய ராகித்தம் மேலாயார் செய்தது சொல்லாது இருப்பது நாண். பகைவர் செய்தவற்றைச் சொல்லாமலிருப்பது வெட்கம். பொருள்: நம்மை விரும்பி வந்தவர்க்கு ஒன்றைக் கொடாமல் இருப்பது நாணம் அன்று; எல்லா நாளும் தீயவைக்கு அஞ்சும் அச்சத்தால் அவை செய்ய நாணுதலும் நாணம் அன்று. உண்மையில், நம்மை எளியராக நினைத்து, செல்வத்தால் உயர்ந்தவர் நமக்குச் செய்த அவமரியாதையைப் பிறருக்குச் சொல்லாதிருப்பதே நாணம் ஆகும். (வேண்டியவர்க்கு ஒன்றைத் தர இயலாமையும் நாணம்; தீயனவற்றைச் செய்ய அஞ்சுதலும் நாணம். ஆயினும் அவற்றைவிடத் தமக்கு நேர்ந்த அவமானத்தை வெளியே சொல்லாமல் இருப்பது சிறந்த நாணமாம் என்பது கருத்து). Explanation (G. | Sri Vishnu Sahasranama Satsangam Dwarka, is conducting the Recitation competition of Sri Vishnu Sahasranamam amongst the school children at Sri Devi Kamakshi Mandhir , Aruna Asaf ali Road, New Delhi on 8th December, 2013.
