பொருள் கல் நனி நல்ல கடையாய மாக்களின் - மக்களிற் கடைப்பட்டவரான பேதையரைவிடக் கற்பாறைகள் மிக நல்லனவாம்;(ஏனெனில்) தாம் சொல் நனி உணராவாயினும் உற்றவர்க்கு இன்னினியே நிற்றல் இருத்தல் கிடத்தல் இயங்குதல் என்று உதவலான் - அவை இக்கடைப்பட்டவர்களைப்போற் சான்றோர் உறுதிமொழிகளை முற்றும் உணரமாட்டாவாயினும் தம்மை அடைந்தவர்க்கு உடனே நின்று கொள்ளல் இருந்து கொள்ளல் சாய்ந்து கொள்ளல் நடந்து கொள்ளல் என்று பலவற்றிற்கும் இடம் உதவுதலான் என்க.
