பாரதி சிறுகதை போட்டி: பாரதியாரின் ''சந்திரிகையின் கதை'' சிறுகதைக்கு முடிவு எழுதும் முயற்சியை பாரதி சிறுகதை போட்டியாக அவ்வை தமிழ்ச்சங்கம் அறிவிக்கிறது. சிறந்த முடிவு எழுதுவோர் அவ்வை தமிழ்ச்சங்க அடுத்த விழா மேடையில் கௌரவிக்கபடுவர். சிறுகதைக்கு முடிவு தமது சொந்தக் கற்பனையில் உருவானதாக இருக்க வேண்டும். தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்படும் சிறந்த முடிவுகள் அவ்வை தமிழ்ச்சங்கத்தின் இணைய தளத்தில் வெளியிட உள்ளோம். படைப்புகள் மின்னஞ்சல் மூலம் எங்களிடம் (avvaitamilsangam@gmail.com ) வந்துசேரக்  கடைசி நாள்: 15 ஜூலை 2014

Act virtuously பொருள்: உலகத்தார் ஒப்புக்கொள்ளும்படியான ஒழுக்கத்தில் இருக்கவேண்டும் என்பது இதன் பொருள்.   பலரும் நேர்மை உள்ளதாக எண்ணுவதை இல்லாததாக எண்ணுவதும், பிழை உள்ளதாக நினைப்பதை நேர்மையாக எண்ணுவதும் பெரிதும் அவமானத்திற்கு உள்ளாக்கும்.   மேலும் பெரியோர்களால் நியாயமாக ஆராயப்பட்டு தகுதியானது என்று மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டதை ஏற்றுக் கொள்ளாமல் நடப்பது பெரும் தீங்கினையும் விளைவிக்கும்.அப்படி இருப்பதால் இகழ்ச்சி அடைவதோடு இல்லாமல் எல்லோருடைய வெறுப்புக்கும் ஆளாகி சிலவேளைகளில் தீமையையும் அடையவும் நேரிடும். சிறுகதை: Resource:  http://athichudi.blogspot.kr/ இளையான்குடி மாறர் என்ற சிவனடியார் ஒருவர் இருந்தார், அவர் தம் இடத்திற்கு வரும் சிவனடியார்களை பெரிதும் உபசரித்து விருந்தளித்து அவர்களுடைய மகிழ்ச்சி கண்டு தானும் மகிழ்ச்சியாக வாழ்ந்து வந்தார்.தன் செல்வம் முழுதும் இப்படியே செலவழித்ததில் அவர்கள் சீக்கிரமே வறுமை அடைந்தார்கள்.   ஒரு நாள் சிவபெருமான் ஒரு சிவனடியாரைப் போல வேடமணிந்து அவர்கள் வீட்டிற்கு விருந்துக்கு வந்தார்.அப்பொழுது மாறர் தமது வறுமை நிலைமைக்காக வருந்தி நிலத்தில் விதைத்திருந்த முளை நெற்களை வாரி வந்து தமது மனைவியிடம் கொடுத்து உணவு சமைக்கச்சொன்னார்.அவளும் கிடைத்த கீரையையும் நெல் முளைகளையும் பக்குவமாக சமைத்து சிவனடியாருக்கு இட்டாள்.   வந்த சிவனடியார்க்கு தக்கவாறு உபசரிக்கவேண்டிய செல்வம் இல்லையே என்று வருந்தினாள் தங்களுடைய முன் இருந்த நிலையை எண்ணி எண்ணி நெஞ்சம் புண்ணாகினாள்.   தாங்கள் பிறருக்கு செய்ய வேண்டிய உபசாரங்கள் குறைய நேரிட்டதற்காகவே ஒப்புரவு(உபகாரம்) அறிந்தவர்கள் தங்கள் வறுமை நிலைக்கு மிகவும் வருந்துவார்கள்..
