தமிழர் இசைக்கருவிகள் -        நகரா ·         நகரா என்பது ஒரு தோல் இசைக்கருவியாகும். மிகப்பெரிய வடிவம் கொண்ட இந்த இசைக்கருவி பெரும்பாலும் கோவில்களில் நுழைவாயில் அருகே இடம்பெற்றிருக்கும். ·         நித்ய பூசை நடைபெறும் காலங்கள், சிறப்பு அபிசேக ஆராதனைகள், பண்டிகைகள், கோவில் விழாக்கள், சாமி அல்லது அம்மன் ஊர்வலம் போன்ற முக்கிய நிகழ்வுகளின்போது நகரா என்ற இந்த இசைக்கருவி இசைக்கப்படுகிறது. பெரும்பாலும் கோவில் ஊழியர்களே இக்கருவியினை இசைக்கிறார்கள். ·         மதுரை மீனாட்சி சுந்தரேஸ்வரர் கோவில் போன்ற பெருங்கோவில்களில் காளை மாடு அல்லது யானையின் முதுகில் பொருத்தப்பட்டு தேரோட்டம் போன்ற நிகழ்வுகளில் இசைக்கப்படுகிறது. ·         இதன் அடிப்பாகம் தாமிரம் (செம்பு) அல்லது பித்தளை போன்ற உலோகங்களில் செய்யப்பட்டு ஒரு பெரிய அரைவட்டச் சட்டி வடிவில் தோற்றமளிக்கும். ·         மேல் பாகத்தைத் தோல் கொண்டு இழுத்துக் கட்டியிருப்பார்கள். மேலும் தோல் தளர்வுறாமல் இருக்க ஒரு இரும்பு சட்டத்தால் இறுக்கப்பட்டிருக்கும். கோவில் ஊழியர்கள் வளைந்த குச்சிகளைப் பயன்படுத்தி அடித்து இசைப்பார்கள். ·         இதன் பயன் கோவில்களில் நடைபெறும் நிகழ்வுகளை தொலை தூரத்தில் இருக்கும் மக்களுக்கு நகரா இசைப்பதன் மூலம் அறிவிப்பது ஆகும்.மேலும் படிக்க

Pilgrimage Trip
Sri Vishnu Sahasranama Satsangam Noida organizes pilgrimage to Nathdwara, Kankroli Dwarka & Udaipur and to cover all other important places in & around them. Intend to leave Noida on Thursday, the 23rd October (on the day of Diwali in Delhi) and return back to Noida on Monday morning i.e. 27th Oct, 2014.
